Fashion photography is a very specialist area of commercial photography where it is essential for your photographer to have the breadth of experience to control the many different elements needed for a successful fashion shoot.
More than any other area of commercial photography, technical ability alone is not enough. A capable fashion photographer must be able to:
- Understand the garments or goods to be photographed.
- Understand the brief and liaise with the art director / graphic designer to be able to produce photographs that are suitable for the end use.
- Direct and get the best performance out of a model and of course to have flair and an artistic eye for fashion and creativity.
- Have the personality to put all these ingredients together and produce photographs that will surpass your expectations.
